When you enroll with Great Lakes Scrip Center, you will receive a unique organization ID number and a password to our secure online ordering site.
Most GLSC customers order online at www.glscrip.com. You can also place your order by calling us toll-free at 800-727-4715. Orders placed by fax are subject to a $4 surcharge.
Payment must be received for all orders before they are released for shipment. Most GLSC customers choose electronic fund transfer to speed payment and delivery of orders. This service is provided by the Automated Clearing House (ACH), a nationwide network of banks, financial institutions, businesses and millions of customers. When you authorize ACH payment, Great Lakes Scrip Center debits your organization’s bank account for the exact amount of your order on the day your order is placed.
All orders are shipped to your organization’s normal shipping address via FedEx. Your order is insured by Great Lakes Scrip Center while in transit; a signature is required for all orders. Each year, GLSC ships over 100,000 orders to non-profit organizations with more than 2 million individual line items. In the last several years, 99.3% of our line items have shipped complete without backorder.
We’re proud of that in-stock performance, especially since we offer the nation’s widest selection of scrip certificates and pre-paid cards.
To reduce the likelihood of backorders, we plan our inventories carefully in advance. We’ve invested in sophisticated inventory planning software, and our experienced buyers know how to get what our customers want. Still, no matter how hard we try and how carefully we plan, every now and then we temporarily run out of something.
Occasionally, Great Lakes Scrip Center may temporarily run out of a particular certificate. When that happens, we will place the item on backorder and ship it with your next order. If you do not place your next order within 10 business days, GLSC will ship your backorder at that time. Unusually large or urgent backorders may be shipped earlier at our discretion.
